Daniel 12 is the capstone that tells us how to interpret Daniel 11:21-45. It tells us when the Resurrection will be. It tells us that some in the kingdom of God will suffer shame and everlasting contempt in the First Resurrection - just as Jesus told us in His parables. It also tells us how long the Great Tribulation will be.
This is why chapter 12 is a vital part of End Times prophecy. It neutralizes false eschatology. It shows us the direction that we should be looking.
Unfortunately, there are many who do not wish to understand Daniel 12, for it demolishes their carefully crafted idol that they have created by twisting the words of God into something that He does not say.
